Nanshi Water Plant is the first digital demonstration water plant built by Shanghai's water supply industry in the city. After the transformation and upgrading in October 2021, the digital twin and simulation platform was launched in Nanshi Water Plant. Based on the framework of "one network unified management" and the concept of "smart water", the platform carries out ultra-fine three-dimensional digital restoration of the structure, production equipment and pipeline system of Nanshi Water Plant, uses the unity3D system to achieve a 1:1 three-dimensional digital twin in the water plant, and builds a digital twin water plant consistent with the real water plant. The system includes multiple modules such as operation monitoring, water quality monitoring, safety control, scheduling simulation, etc., and can provide feedback to managers on a variety of virtual solutions through digital analysis and calculation, so as to achieve the goals of refined management, intelligent production, scientific role, and efficient operation and maintenance.

Nanshi Water Plant Digital Twin and Simulation Platform
Nanshi Water Plant is also one of the earliest water plants in Shanghai's water supply industry to build a photovoltaic power generation industry, which uses solar energy to convert into electricity and inject green energy into the water plant. The project uses the dosing room of Nanshi Water Plant and the concrete roof of the sludge dewatering machine room to arrange the photovoltaic power generation system, with a total area of about 2390m2, a construction scale of about 264.3kW, and 2 400V access points to access the 400V busbar of the second phase of the integrated filter distribution room. The project adopts a "spontaneous self-consumption" consumption model. During the operating period, the total power generation of the photovoltaic system was 6.6786 million kWh, and the average daily total power generation was 730 kWh. The Nanshi Water Plant Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is a powerful measure for the water supply industry to actively respond to the "double carbon" goal and develop clean energy.
