My home is located on a high mountain, surrounded by mountains, pines and cypresses, like a child snuggled in the arms of a mother. The mountains here are rolling and rich in vegetation; the air here is fresh, the four seasons are cool, just like natural oxygen bars; the water here is pure mountain spring water, sweet and sweet; the people here are born and raised, hospitable, and simple. This mountain, this water, this person, and this air will always be my concern and miss, and I can't forget it for a long time.

In my childhood, the most important thing I looked forward to was the New Year. In that era of lack of clothes and less food, every household could not eat enough, not warm, and only in the New Year could they eat well and wear well, so they looked forward to wearing new clothes, eating dumplings, setting off firecrackers, and pressing old money. I have known since I was a child, "Children, children, don't be hungry, after the eighth year is the year." Lapa porridge to drink for a few days, mile mile la la la twenty-three. This widely circulated nursery rhyme vividly depicts the scene of people greeting the Spring Festival. In the countryside, every year on the eighth day of the first lunar month, we drink lapa porridge, and after the day of the Lapa Festival, every household begins to get busy, killing pigs, making tofu, pushing yellow noodles, steaming rice cakes... until the twenty-ninth day of the New Year, all the New Year's "New Year's goods" (referring to the New Year's food and use) are fully prepared. The most worth mentioning here is to push yellow noodles, make tofu, you don't say what this is, the old family knows, every household has to push yellow noodles and make tofu at this time, after Lapa Eight every day in line to busy Luo, a busy work for a few days, everyone works together, you help me, I help you, there is talk and laughter, a lively scene immediately dressed up the whole village, so that the whole mountain village suddenly boiled up. In my family, the busiest person at this time of year is my father, who runs around every day to kill pigs for free in every household, and it can be said that ninety percent of the pigs in the village are slaughtered by him, but he has never asked for money from the owner.

On the twenty-third day of the waxing moon, it is a small year, and people mainly offer sugar melons and pastries, invite the king of the stove, and worship the god of the stove. The houses where each family lived were all stone slab houses made of stone, and every family had an earthen kang (for sleeping) and used a stove to burn kang for heating. On this day, people will paste the statue of the stove king on the kang box at the mouth of the stove, and the offerings will be installed on a plate and placed next to the stove mouth to offer to the stove king, which means that the new year will become more and more prosperous and harvest many auspicious fortunes. The Chinese New Year's Eve of the year, that is, Chinese New Year's Eve night. On this day, it is the day when every household pastes the couplet, usually before noon. This day is the day of family reunion, no matter where you are in, you must rush back to your home for a reunion dinner. After dinner, we began to get busy, chopping stuffing, noodles, dumplings, and preparing breakfast for the first day of the Chinese New Year. On this day, rural people pay attention to the observance of the year, also known as staying up for the New Year, people are accustomed to keeping vigil all night and staying up all night to welcome the arrival of the new year. In fact, the most important and lively thing is to put firecrackers and bamboo, generally put two, put one before eight o'clock in the evening, and after watching the Spring Festival Gala, put one at twenty-four o'clock at night. The mountains in the middle of the night are dark and quiet, sometimes quiet and a little scary, but in the sound of firecrackers, the tranquility of the mountain village is indeed broken, especially in the "flash thunder", "drill sky roar", "two horns" and other colorful fireworks intertwined together to form a spectacular scene of lightning and thunder, which seems to be lively for a while. Sitting on the earthen kang, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sky through the window.

On the morning of the first day of the first lunar month, generally everyone rarely sleeps, and an important etiquette on this day is to worship the New Year. Families will get up at five or six o'clock to put firecrackers, finish the firecrackers to eat dumplings, and after eating dumplings, they will go to the streets to visit the new year, which is called mutual visits. The most promising is the children, at this time the elders will give the children a long time to give the old money.

This kind of scene and feeling, the people in the city can not feel, but for me has now become a luxury.

It has been more than twenty years since I left my hometown, and I remember the memories of my childhood and the nostalgia for the past New Year. Nowadays, after all, the years are not spared, as I grow older, I feel more and more that the taste of the year is getting weaker and weaker, and I can no longer find the taste of the year in my childhood, but I have always looked forward to it, if one day time can be turned back, I will choose to go back to the past, I like the taste of my hometown year.
