Xue Bin, vice chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and deputy secretary of the party committee of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, has been appointed commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
According to the WeChat public account of "Corps Daily", on January 18, the first plenary meeting of the Corps Safety Committee and Fire Prevention Committee in 2022 was held. Xue Bin, vice chairman of the autonomous region, deputy secretary of the party committee of the corps, and commander of the corps, presided over the meeting and made a speech.
It is worth mentioning that Xue Bin was admitted to Tongji University at the age of 17 and is a national registered urban planner. Xue Bin has also been working in Xinjiang since he joined the workforce in 1987. In September last year, the 28th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th People's Congress of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region decided to appoint Xue Bin as vice chairman of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
On the same day, two women at the provincial and ministerial levels took up new posts, and on the morning of January 19, the fifth meeting of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held its second plenary meeting to hold the election of the general assembly. The meeting elected Wu Lan and Huang Lanxiang as vice chairmen of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Xue Bin was born in April 1966 in Wubao, Shaanxi.
According to public information, in September 1983, 17-year-old Xue Bin went to Shanghai Tongji University to study urban planning in the Department of Architecture. In 1987, after graduation, he went to work at the Xinjiang Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute, and has since taken root in Xinjiang.
During his stay in Xinjiang, he served as deputy director of the Urban and Rural Planning Department and director of the Technical Review Station of the Construction Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, director of the Urban Planning Department of the Construction Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, member of the party group and assistant commissioner of the Turpan Regional Administration, member and secretary general of the Turpan Prefectural Committee, member and secretary general of the Turpan Prefectural Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Bazhou Party Committee, secretary of the Kuwei Party Committee, secretary of the Korla Municipal Party Committee, and first secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee.
In May 2012, Xue Bin, then secretary of the Korla Municipal Party Committee, also visited his alma mater, Tongji University. Xue Bin introduced the economic and social development of Korla and hoped to promote the all-round development of Korla through cooperation with his alma mater in planning, transportation, environment and other advantageous disciplines.
In February 2016, Xue Bin took office as deputy secretary of the urumqi municipal party committee, deputy secretary of the municipal government party group and executive vice mayor, and a year later (March 2017), Xue Bin succeeded Erkenjiang Tulahong (currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department) to become the secretary of the Tacheng Prefectural Party Committee.
According to the official website of Tacheng, the Tacheng area is located in the northwest of the motherland, bordering Kazakhstan, and the border line is 540.6 kilometers long. The Tacheng National Key Development and Opening Pilot Zone in Xinjiang is currently the only one in the northwest region that has been developed and opened along the border.
Born in April 1961, the former commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is Peng Jiarui, who served as secretary of the Tacheng Prefectural Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, secretary of the Bazhou Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee, secretary general, and executive vice chairman of the autonomous regional government.

The meeting elected Wu Lan and Huang Lanxiang as vice chairmen of the 12th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Born in 1962, Wu Lan is a member of the Inner Mongolia Branch Left Banner, and has successively served as the secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Youth League, the deputy secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Yikezhao League Committee (at the level of the main office), the deputy secretary of the Ordos Municipal Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (at the level of the main office), and the deputy secretary and president of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Bayannaoer League Committee.
In November 2003, WuLan was promoted to vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government, in November 2006 he became a member of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, followed by the head of the Propaganda Department of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, and in October 2016, he was transferred across provinces to deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee.
When Wulan took office, she also became a rare female full-time deputy secretary of the provincial party committee in the 31 provinces and municipalities of the country at that time, and the other was Huang Xiaowei, who was the deputy secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee at the time.
Another new one is Huang Lanxiang. She has worked in Hunan Province for a long time, successively serving as the secretary of the Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee of Hunan Province of the Communist Youth League, and then successively serving as the secretary of the Zhuzhou North District Party Committee, the secretary of the Shifeng District Committee, the vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Women's Federation, the vice mayor of Zhuzhou City, the standing committee member and vice mayor of Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee, the mayor of Yueyang City, and the secretary of the Municipal Party Committee. Huang Lanxiang was elected mayor of Yueyang in January 2007, and she was the first female mayor of Yueyang and the only female mayor of Hunan at that time.
