On January 18th, 100 days before the opening of the Third Garden Expo in Hubei Province, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, held a press conference to report on the situation of the Third (Jingmen) Garden Expo in Hubei Province.
Hubei Garden Expo is the largest, highest specification, most influential and most abundant landscape garden event in Hubei. The 3rd Hubei Garden Expo will be held in Jingmen from April 28 to June 28. Lei Hua, vice mayor of Jingmen Municipal People's Government, introduced that the site of this garden expo is Zhanghe New District, Jingmen City, with a total area of 2,094 mu and a planned total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan. It is planned to build 32 exhibition parks in 6 major sections, including 1 Jingmen Exhibition Park, 16 exhibition parks in cities and prefectures in the province, 7 exhibition parks in Jingmen County,4 exhibition parks in sister cities, 3 education exhibition parks, and 1 creative park. Up to now, 20 housing construction projects such as the Natural History Museum, Garden Bohua Street and Horticultural Center have completed the main structural engineering; the greening project and garden sketch project have been completed 85%, the supporting projects of roads and pipe networks in the park have been completed 90%; and the 32 city-state characteristic exhibition parks have been basically completed.
It is understood that the land used for this garden expo is the mine goaf area, through pit restoration, scar treatment, habitat connection, to create a set of garden expo exhibition, sponge city technology application, conservation garden technology utilization, natural woodland and rural ornamental vegetation restoration and other multi-functional ecological green space and mine pit garden. The main venue, Jingmen Garden Expo Park, fully respects and utilizes the original mountain, water, forest and other resources and undulating terrain changes in the base site, relies on the five mountains and natural water surfaces in the park from north to south, and skillfully repairs and sorts them out, and carries out design planning and construction in accordance with the mountain park, forming a heavy mountain, peak circuit, step by step, step by step, the effect of different scenery, giving people the impression of "looking horizontally into the peaks on the side of the ridge, and the heights and heights of the near and far are different". As the tourists move, the Garden Expo Garden will slowly unfold in front of people like a beautiful picture scroll.
With the theme of "Ecological Jingmen and Quality Life", this year's Garden Expo will hold more than 50 exhibition and promotion activities in three categories in a period of 2 months, covering academic seminars, cultural creativity, garden art, business negotiations, song and dance performances and other aspects. At the same time, the park will hold a series of activities integrating mass, culture and entertainment, such as flower arrangement and bonsai art exhibitions, photography, art and calligraphy exhibitions, community cultural festivals, youth long-distance running races, dance and martial arts performances, and strive to make the garden expo a green, healthy and wonderful garden event.
