author:Teacher Chen of Huilinhai Technology

"Hummingbird Project" is another masterpiece by Vietnamese-Canadian director Nguyen Kim. Of course, it is not very beautiful, but it still shows the life and mental state of contemporary Americans in a panoramic way, and exposes the contradictions and truths of various classes in the United States.

The film is directed by Nguyen Kim, director of the Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film, and starring Oscar-nominated Jesse Eisenberg ("The Amazing Bandits" series, "The Social Network"), and Emmy Award winner Alexander Scarsgaard ("Tarzan Returns: Jungle in Danger").

("Tarzan Returns: Jungle in Danger") starring Alexander Skarsgaard.

The pair of cousins, Vinnie and Anton, who work on a New York exchange, found a business opportunity to increase the speed of transmission transactions from 17 milliseconds to 16 milliseconds on a straight fiber optic line from New York to Kansas, and they would make hundreds of millions of dollars a year. So they found investors on Wall Street and started their crazy entrepreneurial journey.

It seemed like they were supposed to be called project managers, but they were actually doing the work of a contractor foreman. Because in the United States, all assets are private assets, it seems that the ground is buried with optical fibers, this kind of work that is not very large in China, but the workload in the United States is very large. All the houses, land, mountains, lakes, and lakes need to be negotiated and signed one by one; but the United States is a strange country, and not everyone is moved by money.

New York, USA, to create a rich dream

Think about China's contract foremen, real estate developers, engaged in demolition, engaged in engineering, how happy! Which is used so troublesome, a cover of red-headed documents, a compensation payment, come and go for a few rounds, basically can be done. You can even not pay, because the underground belongs to the state, and this is an infrastructure project that benefits civilian use, who can stop you, or even say hello, directly through the optical fiber under the ground.

But in the United States, the contractor foreman Vinnie can't do it, countless thorny issues are waiting for them, and everything has to be discussed one by one. In particular, the fiber has to cross a farm, but the farmer does not let them cross the fiber. Because the farmers don't love money, they believe that the land is God's and won't change their minds because of money. Vinnie raised the price to a sky-high price of $230,000, but they were still unmoved. Imagine that in China, this kind of thing is actually not called a thing, the land is originally the state, wear a fiber, you have no half a cent loss and get money in vain, it is a fool not to do it! It can be seen that being a contract foreman in the United States is much more difficult than in China.

The story ends, of course, when the project fails. The reason for the failure is not that the contractor Vinnie "buried the optical fiber" is unfavorable, but the rapid development of science and technology, so that this transmission method has not been used before it is eliminated by new technology.

By analogy, it is not very scientific, and the logic is consistent. Equivalent to the contractor Winnie just developed the 5G system, but another genius Musk has developed the StarChain system, do not have to dig holes so hard, nor are they limited by the terrain, the speed is much faster, Vinnie's investment money, not to be adrift.

Therefore, it is really not easy to be a contract foreman in the United States; although the chinese contract foreman is often necked by Party A, it is still too happy compared to the contract foreman in the United States!

Cool contractor foreman A Niu Brother

You see, this douyin on the ah niu brother, just finished the project, the pig killing knife singing, that loud.

The American system, for the contractor, is really a pig-killing knife.

Doing business is still cool in China.
