After trial, the court held that the defendant Lao Rongzhi, together with others, had deliberately and illegally deprived the victim of his life, and his conduct had constituted the crime of intentional homicide; his act of robbing the victim's property by violent and threatening means for the purpose of illegal possession had constituted the crime of robbery; and his act of kidnapping the victim for the purpose of extorting property had constituted the crime of kidnapping. Lao Rongzhi plays a major role in the joint crime, is the principal offender, and shall be punished according to all the crimes in which he participated.
After Lao Rongzhi was arrested, he truthfully confessed the fact that he had kidnapped in Changzhou, which was a confession. Lao Rongzhi deliberately killed five people; robbery caused the death of one person, the amount of robbery was huge, and there were circumstances of robbery in the house; kidnapping caused the death of one person, extorting a ransom of more than 70,000 yuan, the crime was particularly heinous, the means were particularly cruel, the subjective viciousness was extremely deep, the personal danger and social harm were extremely great, and the consequences and crimes were extremely serious and should be punished according to law. Although there are confessions, it is not enough to give a lenient punishment. If Lao Rongzhi commits several crimes, he shall be punished together in accordance with law. According to media reports, after the first-instance judgment was pronounced, Lao Rongzhi cried bitterly in court and expressed dissatisfaction and said that he wanted to file an appeal.
On November 28, 2019, Lao Rongzhi was arrested in a shopping mall in Xiamen, and after the last time she escaped from a police pursuit, she has disappeared for 20 years. When she was arrested, she acted calm, not noisy, and smiled at the police camera.

Time back 20 years ago, Lu Zhongming left his hometown in the countryside and went to Hefei to work as a carpenter. Lu'an Road still has a group of carpenters, who are waiting like rabbits at the intersection for customers to come to the door. In 1999, there were more than 80 carpenters on Lu'an Road, and they were holding tools and setting up stalls on the side of the road, which was very lively.
Lu Zhongming had only been here for half a month, and on July 22, 1999, he was called home by a "customer." The man was one meter tall, seventy-three, with a thin face and a small mustache. He is the famous "bandit" at the end of the century- Fa Ziying.

Lu Zhongming never returned. Zhu Dahong's lawyer Liu Jingjie said that as soon as Lu Zhongming entered the door, he saw that there was an iron cage in the house, and a middle-aged man was locked, and he wanted to seize the door to escape, and Fa Ziying had already blocked the door. He was about to rush to the balcony again, and before he could take two steps, he was stabbed from behind by Fa Ziying and fell down in a succession of knives.
The next day, in the family building of a company in Hefei, riot police surrounded Fa Ziying layer by layer. The police used tear gas and hit Fa Ziying in the right leg as he fled, successfully capturing him. But Lau fled and disappeared for the next twenty years.

Lu Zhongming's body was the last to be found, he was frozen in a second-hand refrigerator, at first no one knew his name, but only deduced that he was a carpenter through scattered tools.
His death was tragic, with his head and torso separated. According to the Hefei public security indictment opinion, he had more than 20 knife wounds in the chest, armpits and back, and finally died of acute hemorrhage. The three people he saw before he died, Fa Ziying, Lao Rongzhi, and Yin Jianhua, the "man in the cage", he did not know him, nor did the other party know him.
It was an almost absurd murder. Fa Ziying and Lao Rongzhi kidnapped Yin Jianhua and told him, "We are professional kidnappers and have killed people." Yin Jianhua did not believe it. Fa Ziying said, "I'll kill someone to show you."
In 1999, when mobile phones were not yet popular, Fa Ziying used a BB machine to call his landlord Wu Yonggui, but Wu Yonggui did not see it. Zhu Dahong's lawyer Liu Jingjie lamented that they were going to kill the landlord, but the landlord was lucky and escaped the disaster, so they found another innocent person.

Yin Jianhua saw the carpenter killed, and he gave in. He was forced to write three notes and call home at 9 p.m. Yin's wife, Liu Min, heard her husband say on the phone: "I am causing trouble for you again, I have kidnapped someone else." She was told to prepare a ransom of 300,000 and met in front of a hotel 20 minutes later.
In Nanchang in 1996, Fa Ziying and Lao Rongzhi successfully carried out a "kidnapping and mutilation case" by similar means. They kidnapped Xiong Qiyi, and when the bear tried to call for help, they killed and dismembered him, packing the body pieces in four bags, one of which was taken to the bear's house. They tied up bear's wife and 3-year-old daughter, ransacked the bears' property, and then killed them.
In Wenzhou in 1997, Fa Ziying and Lao Rongzhi committed another crime, they found liang Xiaochun rich when they rented a house, tied her up, and then asked her to call another rich person, Liu Suqing. The two girls were tied together with wires. After Lao Rongzhi took out the money, Fa Ziying strangled them to death.
This time, it was Yin Jianhua's turn.
Yin's wife, Liu Min, went to the agreed hotel gate, but did not see anyone, so she hurried home to call.
Fa Ziying later confessed that he arrived at the hotel door later that night, smoked four or five cigarettes, and went back to question Yin Jianhua, why didn't Liu Min come? Yin Jianhua said it was impossible for his wife not to go. Yin Jianhua and his wife did not know that Fa Ziying had always left no living mouth, and if they had seen it that night, I am afraid that Liu Min would also be more fierce and less lucky.
The meeting time was changed to the next day, at 9:00 a.m. on July 23, 1999, Liu Min was called downstairs and saw Fa Ziying in front of the phone booth. The bandit shook her hand and asked her, "Why don't you care about your husband?" and asked her, "Why don't you invite me to your house?" ”

Liu Min did not dare to touch the gun, her friend who sent the money had already arrived downstairs, she used the excuse of taking money, went downstairs with the consent of Fa Ziying, and finally fled the danger.
Friends had already called the police, and as soon as they heard that there was a gun, the Hefei police immediately mobilized elite forces and surrounded the building layer by layer. The follow-up "Police Window" recorded the arrest footage, and in this brick wall building shaped like a tube building, the police deployed every point. Fa Ziying hid at the head of the bed in the corner of the wall, shielded himself in front of the safe, and tried to resist with a gun in one hand.
"Police Window" also records the enigmatic dialogue between Fa Ziying and the police. The police persuaded him to lay down his arms, saying, "[You and my life] are precious." He said, "Precious, you take that little bit of wage." He also said to the photographer: "Friends with cameras, is this kind of occasion fun?" Life and death become a reality in an instant."
But he could no longer kill anyone, and the police finally hit him in the right leg, lifting him out of the building, and his career as a gangster ended.
On December 28, 1999, Fa Ziying was executed. According to onlookers, the judiciary would "shoot some convicted and vicious people" before the festival, and execute them in public. Fa Ziying knelt at the execution ground with his name on his back, and he fell in front of everyone after a gunshot.

Before dying, Fa Ziying did not necessarily truly repent. Yu Xi, a senior partner at Bank of China (Hefei) Law Firm in Beijing, who was a novice lawyer who had been licensed for half a year and was appointed by the court to be Fa Ziying's defense lawyer, said: "When I met Fa Ziying, I had a gloomy feeling because he was extremely indifferent to life. Indifference not only to the lives of others, but also to one's own."
Yu Xi met with Fa Ziying six or seven times, the last time after the death sentence, Fa Ziying asked him to come to the guardhouse, saying that he had a stomach and just wanted to find someone to chat with. They talked freely all afternoon, and Fa Ziying said that he had other murders on him. Yu Xi recalled: "I took notes that day, and I remember that my hands hurt. ”
Yu Xi talked about the first time he met Fa Ziying, and the other party was very friendly and polite and said: "Lawyer, thank you for coming to see me." You don't have to deal with the case, just chat with me." Fa Ziying bluntly said that his best outcome was to be killed at the scene of the arrest, or to walk directly from the court to the execution site. After being arrested by the police, Fa Ziying did not confess the facts at the first time, but instead made nonsense, saying that he had been hired to kidnap and kill people, and even framed the innocent little carpenter as his accomplice, and only killed him because of the conflict. Five days later, because of the smell of corpses, Yin Jianhua's decomposing body in the cage was found, and Lao Rongzhi had already fled. Fa Ziying retracted his confession many times, leaving behind different versions of the plot. It is said that before he went out, Yin Jianhua had been strangled to death. One said that he had tightened his neck and told Lao Rongzhi to tighten the cloth strips if necessary. He went out at eight o'clock and instructed Lao Rongzhi that if he did not return at 12 noon, she would leave the scene quickly.
Whether it is true or not, no matter which version, Fa Ziying is to exonerate Lao Rongzhi and take all the blame on himself. He told Yu Xi that at a friend's social event, he met 19-year-old Lao Rongzhi. She is a local primary school teacher and admires Fa Ziying, who is a gangster. Fa Ziying ranked seventh in the family, so he was nicknamed "Pharaoh Seven" and was a well-known figure in the local underworld.
After the two were together, they began the road to death. They were young, they loved each other, they were killing people everywhere. Fa Ziying, who had been reduced to a prisoner of the order, asked Lao Rongzhi's whereabouts again and again, and he did not know whether Lao Rongzhi was safe or not, but he never gave a clue.

When she committed crimes in Nanchang and Hefei, she played a great role. Lao Rongzhi went to work in entertainment venues and targeted rich men. In Hefei, she spent three or nine days as a sitting lady in a dance hall, and for about half a month, she saw Yin Jianhua many times.
Yin Jianhua opened a company that year and claimed to be the general manager. Lao Rongzhi saw that he had consumed a lot, and he was generous, and he also held a few packs of soft Chinese cigarettes scattered around, and locked him after consulting with Fa Ziying. Once, in a kidnapping case, the hostages escaped, and Fa Ziying specially customized a steel cage. It is 0.5 meters high and 1.5 meters long, and an adult man can only curl up in it.
Lao Rongzhi laid a beauty trap and lured Yin Jianhua to his home, and he eventually died tragically in a cage.
