The keycaps of the GM903 are made of PBT material, made into a circle or pill shape, and the characters on the surface are even UV laminated. In addition, although the round keycaps are used, they are actually not as difficult to adapt to the round keycaps on traditional mechanical keyboards. Mainly because the round keycaps on the GM903 have a flat curvature (the concave surface is very weak) and no step layout, the sense of boundaries (fingertip limit sense) is not so strong. Of course, the round keycaps are mainly beautiful, and if you compare them with the traditional large-contact keycaps, you will still sacrifice some ease of use.
The keys of the keyboard adopt scissor foot structure, the key range is about 2.5mm to 3mm, the rebound is very heeled, the pressure gram number is larger than some notebook keyboards, and there is no difficulty in getting started.
In terms of experience, the keyboard belt has a certain slope, and the area angle is close to 30 °, so that the keyboard can not only be placed on the desktop to work, but also maintain a comfortable state directly on the thigh. Relying on the bowl holder, although the two-hand posture is natural and easy, the cost of learning from the traditional keyboard to the GM903 is not small, and occasionally because of the special arrangement, there will be a case of pressing the wrong key or not pressing the key. For example, this keyboard's "? /" and the right Shift key is spaced between one arrow key, trying to enter the question mark by muscle memory and brain experience, subconsciously easy to press wrong.
Taking the typical office scene as an example, with the bowl holder, the angle of the hands on the keyboard is about 45 °, which is very close to the layout angle of the keyboard, and this separation + tilting key arrangement, the arm eight-figure unfolding posture is more suitable. Especially when using the 104 regular keyboard, the left hand will be more tired, and this problem does not exist on the GM903.
To sum up, the GM903 needs a certain learning cost to adapt, but it is undeniable that the GM903 can more or less alleviate the fatigue caused by some long hours of work, so that the wrist no longer needs to adapt to the keyboard at an unnatural angle.
