In fact, in my opinion, there is no film and television work that can shoot the essence of the journey to the west, if it is all displayed,
"Journey to the West" is too complex, it builds a complete mythological system, if the Journey to the West is the 1.0 version of Chinese mythology, then the subsequent "Fengshen Yanyi" can only be regarded as a patch, called the Chinese mythology 1.1 version.
After that, almost all the mythical novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties, "The Complete Biography of Jigong" and "The Complete Biography of the Eight Immortals"... And so on, all of which are based on their mythological system.
"Journey to the West" can be regarded as the pioneer of magic realism in the history of Chinese literature, "magic" is only a technique, and the expression of "reality" is the purpose.
"Journey to the West" is worth speculating on too much, in essence, it is a novel that satirizes feudal bureaucrats, seemingly cold-eyed narrative, but thoughtful but sharp.
The author did not worship the Buddha and suppress the Tao, and he probably did not like both the Buddha and the Dao; at the foot of the Lingshan Mountain, there was the Purgatory Lion Hump Ridge on the earth; the trouser belt of the Taishang Laojun was on the fox essence, and the banana fan was in the hands of the Iron Fan Princess...
Even according to Lingji Bodhisattva, the banana fan is divided into yin and yang, born of the same origin, Lao Jun's is yang, and the iron fan princess is yin, this statement is actually more ambiguous, and the red child will be three true fires, her mother's fan will extinguish the fire, how to look like a father left to the mother to discipline the child...
What's more, what Lingji Bodhisattva said is not necessarily right, watching the Journey to the West must keep more eyes, full of heavenly gods and Buddhas lie and open their mouths, in fact, they are satirizing people who have the right to speak, they can reverse right and wrong, and when you really lose.
Back to the point, to see journey to the west, we must start from a few habitual, blind lies to break the problem, from these perspectives, in order to see a different Journey to the West.
Do not sell Guanzi, list them all in one breath, and then analyze them one by one:
First of all, a day in heaven, a year on earth, a false;
Secondly, the immortals can pinch and calculate, false;
Again, the immortals are immortal, false;
The West is Elysium, fake.
A day in heaven and a year on earth?
Heaven is a day on earth for a year, many gods and immortals in Journey to the West say this, and many other folklore stories say so, so we accept this setting for granted, but if you think about it carefully, there must be something wrong with it.
For example, the cowherd and the weaver girl can only meet once a year through the Queqiao Bridge, according to the time flow rate in the sky, then the weaver girl does not see the cowherd every day?
"Journey to the West" is basically the rhythm of "Master Brother, Master was captured by the monster again", so Sun Wukong did not run to the Heavenly Court on the way to take the scriptures, the Jade Emperor saw it several times, according to the time flow rate of one day and one year, Goku went to heaven to say hello to people, Tang Monk had long been steamed by the monster, saying that this setting must be deceitful.
The spirit mountain where the Buddha lived was also on the ground, but on the occasion of the Lion Camel Ridge, the mounted elephants and lions of Manjushri and Puxian went to the Lion Camel Ridge, and Sun Wukong looked for them, and the Buddha calmly asked the two bodhisattvas, "Bodhisattva beast, how long has it been since you went down the mountain?" Manjushri said, "It's been seven days." Ru Lai said, "I don't know how many lives have been injured in that box, so let me take him in." ”
This is even more outrageous. There are two problems here:
First, why do the gods and Buddhas lie?
Second, why did the Buddha exaggerate more?
Sun Wukong is a party, he has been back and forth to the Heavenly Court and the Spirit Mountain many times, it is impossible not to know that the time flow rate is the same everywhere, he just does not say broken, because the monkey who takes the scriptures is already a person in the system, and cannot hit the face of the system.
The forces of the Heavenly Court, Immortals, Buddhas, and Taoism in the human world have been entangled in the earth and have been causing misfortune for many years, and this is a fact, and there is no way to argue, so we can only say that heaven is one day and one year on earth.
One is to clear the relationship between themselves and the spokespersons of the human forces of this sect, they are all mounts, the boys themselves to toss, and I have nothing to do with oh, the second is that the responsibility for poor supervision is actually very small, the heavens are a day on the earth for a year, this is not only a few days, I did not pay attention, who does not lose a cow, the child is greedy and does not go home...
Goku just wants to solve the problem, complete the task of learning the scriptures, you love to pull how to pull, take your mount, the child to take home on the line, I don't care about anything else, the monkey at this time can only be called Sun Wukong, can not be called the Great Sage, the ultimate of the heart ape cultivation is Goku, he already knows when to make a fuss, express emotions, when to restrain, what words can be said, what words can not be said.
Can the immortals really know the past and the future?
Immortals can pinch and calculate, it must be false, no matter who it is, there is no way to know five hundred years before and five hundred years later. If you can calculate the past and the future, the world will collapse, and there will be a lot of logic bugs. In the world, all developments are the same as the script, so can you change the script?
Watching "Journey to the West", no matter which big god pinches his finger and tells the past and the future, he must be lying.
Therefore, the Jinghe Dragon King must have been killed, and he was killed by the Heavenly Court's calculations, Yuan Shoucheng was just the knife that killed him, and it rained a little more, which was nothing to the Dragon King, sun Wukong let the Dragon King of the Four Seas rain more places, and there was no problem.
For example, in the forty-ninth book, "Guanyin Rescues the Fish Basket", a goldfish in the lotus pond of Guanyin Bodhisattva enters the Tongtian River to call himself the "King of Inspiration", which plagues the people of nearby Chenjiazhuang.
After this demon caught Tang Monk, Sun Wukong went to find Guanyin to help, but Guanyin "pinched his fingers and patrolled the pattern", and had already calculated that the goldfish had become a jing here, harming Tang Monk, "so he did not have time to dress up, luck the gods, and weave a bamboo basket to catch him."
What is more interesting is that after guanyin lifted the basket to recover the goldfish essence, Sun Wukong immediately said:
Bodhisattva, since this is the case, and when I am waiting for the film, wait for me to call the believers of Chen Jiazhuang and so on, and look at the golden face of the bodhisattva: one is to stay in grace, and the other is to say this strange thing, so as to teach mortals to make faith offerings. ”
Bodhisattvas also need to be provided by mortals, and the scourge of goldfish becoming a sperm must wait until they have caught the Tang monks before calmly saying "they have already calculated", and the causal interests in this are difficult for people not to "conspire theories"!
For example, in the six-eared macaque passage, the Buddha said that the six ears are "able to detect, know before and after, and all things are clear", if it is true that as Rulai said, the six ears can predict the past and the future, how could he not budget that he would be locked in a golden bowl by Rulai, and give Sun Wukong "an iron rod and beat him to death"?
Therefore, many people say that "true and false monkey king" that time, the death is actually Sun Dasheng, rulai wants to replace the rebellious and independent Goku with a tamed six-eared macaque. Personally, I don't think so, planning such a complex conspiracy, many links are prone to problems, so it is like this is bragging again, it is as simple as that.
The world is sometimes confusing and full of conspiracies, but most of the time, we should trust our simple intuition, if a question has a simple answer and a complex answer alternative, believe in the simple.
Can the immortals live forever?
The immortals in the journey to the west cannot live forever, and Bodhi Lao zu clearly told Sun Wukong that the immortals have three disasters and nine disasters, so the immortals have to eat peaches, Lao Jun only treasures his Golden Dan, Zhen Yuanzi guards his ginseng fruit tree, and the monsters want to eat people, which are all continuing their lives.
First of all, clarify a concept, what is a god, what is a monster, everything in the world of the journey to the west has a spirit, "five immortals", "five worms" and even dead things can cultivate, so-called
Everyone wants to live forever, only by means, decent points to eat peach jindan, no way to eat people, especially children, virgin boys and girls should have the best effect. The "Tiger, Deer, and Sheep Immortals" of the Che Chi Kingdom, the Goldfish Essence, the White Deer Essence and the Fox Essence of the Bhikkhu Kingdom are all this number.
Therefore, eating people has never been a big problem, wanting to eat Tang Monk is the problem, and almost all the monsters want to eat Tang Monk to be killed, not eat people.
Just as Lu Xun said, "I opened the history and checked, this history has no age, every page of the crooked slope is written with benevolence and righteousness and morality, I can't sleep horizontally, I looked carefully in the middle of the night, only to see the words from the cracks, full of two words written, eat people!"
The West is not Elysium
Looking at the Journey to the West World, it is true that the closer you get to the Spirit Mountain, the more outrageous it becomes. Datang in the Southern Ganbu Continent, the security is actually quite good, at least there is no big demon for the human world, the Spirit Mountain in the West Niuhe Zhou, should have been prosperous and peaceful, the results are what a miasma of Che Chi Country, Black Chicken Country, Lion Camel Country, Bhikkhu Country...
These places that are controlled by youkai, or even people who are directly eaten by youkai, are all in West Niuhezhou, and for humans, the closer they are to the Buddha, the more dangerous it is...
The irony lies in the fact that, for example, before coming to the Tang monks to get the scriptures, he said, "Those who are in the southern part of the continent are greedy and happy, kill more and fight more, and the so-called tongue murder field is not the evil sea." And West Niu he zhou is "not greedy, not killed, nourishing qi and subliminal spirits, although supremely true, everyone is solid life."
The main purpose of the Tang monks and disciples going west is to spread the Dharma to the Tang Dynasty, that is, Buddhism wants to open up the Datang market, which traditionally belongs to the Forces of the Heavenly Court, and the westward journey is a reshuffle of the world's forces by the two Buddhist and Taoist families.
If the journey to the west is really to worship the Buddha and suppress the Tao, then the West Cow Hezhou should be described better, but in fact, the author's criticism of Buddhism is not soft at all, the so-called Mo is dust to cover the eyes of the Buddha, originally did not offer incense money.
The four famous works have been filmed and televisionized, of which the CCTV 86 version of "Journey to the West" should have the deepest impact, basically every summer vacation will be replayed once a year. The gods and immortals in the TV series are all kind eyebrows and good eyes, pudu sentient beings, sand monks loyal, eight precepts, Wukong justice, Tang monk compassion, even those monsters are either affectionate or stupid, the whole story of the sutra is adapted for the young and old, relaxed and funny.
If you look at the original work of "Journey to the West" with the cognition of watching the drama, it is somewhat subversive. This journey to the west world is not a utopian world full of truth, goodness and beauty, each major character actually has its own dark side, just as Lu Xun commented that "gods and demons have humanity, and the charm is also sophisticated."
Famous classics, often read and often new, are in the practical significance carried by the novel, so that we can learn from the past and the present, better see the world, understand life, and know ourselves.
