Liaoning Tieling police dismantled a den of illegally stored fireworks

Recently, the Public Security Management Detachment of the Public Security Bureau of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, carried out a large-scale investigation of the safety hazards of fireworks and firecrackers throughout the city. In their work, the police found that 6580 cases of fireworks and firecrackers were illegally stored in an idle warehouse in Cuiwentun, Mingde Township, Xifeng County, Tieling City, and their owners were administratively punished.

On October 16 this year, under the guidance of the Public Security Management Detachment of the Tieling City Public Security Bureau, the Public Security Brigade of the Xifeng County Public Security Bureau of Tieling City, together with the Mingde Township Police Station of Xifeng County, seized a batch of fireworks and firecrackers in the idle warehouse of a company in Cuiwentun, Hengjie Village, Mingde Township, Xifeng County. The Public Security Brigade of xifeng county public security bureau seized a total of 6580 pieces (3080 boxes, 3500 plates) of fireworks and firecrackers in the warehouse in accordance with the law, and safely transferred them to the regular fireworks and firecrackers storage warehouse, eliminating major safety hazards in a timely manner. Due to the excessive number of fireworks seized, it took more than 10 hours with 5 large trucks, and all of them were safely transferred at about 3 o'clock on the 17th. On the same day, the Public Security Management Brigade of the Xifeng County Public Security Bureau accepted the case in accordance with the case of illegal storage of dangerous substances, and summoned the suspect to the public security organ for questioning on October 20. After investigation, Mr. Wang confessed to the illegal act of illegally storing dangerous substances, and the police gave Mr. Wang a punishment decision of 13 days of administrative detention in accordance with the law.
