According to reporter Matte Moretto, Cadiz has now abandoned his plan to sign Luke De Jong this month.

Luke De Jong had been associated with Cádiz before, but there had been no agreement between Barca, Cadiz and Sevilla. Luke De Jong currently owns Sevilla, where he made 15 appearances and scored four goals during his loan spell for Barca this season.
