According to the Milan News Network, Ajax centre-back Schuls was recommended to AC Milan.
AC Milan are also assessing a number of potential centre-back targets in search of a suitable new centre-back in the winter window. Currently, Ajax's centre-back Scholes has been recommended to AC Milan, the 22-year-old Dutch defender who has made 17 appearances this season but is no longer an absolute mainstay of the team. His current contract with Ajax expires in 2025 and he has previously been selected for the Dutch national team.
Scholes's age and characteristics are more in line with AC Milan's reinforcement needs, and his value is about 15 million euros to 20 million euros.
