"Give Me Wings"

Is it possible for a man flying a light plane with a flock of geese flying from Norway in the Arctic Circle to The North Sea to France? It's a hard thing to imagine, how can a goose fly with a plane? Light aircraft can only fly for five or six hours at a time when they are full of fuel, and there are many obstacles and dangers along the way. But one man did, he was still a 14-year-old.

This is the story told in the movie "Give Me Wings" that we watched today, and under the influence of his father, a bird conservation scholar, Thomas, 14, took the white-fronted geese they raised with them to leap from Norway to France through various difficulties, with the aim of teaching them to migrate and protect these endangered animals.

The first half of the film is not wonderful, just a decent preparation, but the second half becomes more and more interesting, a 14-year-old boy and his adventures with 19 white-fronted geese and a black-fronted goose begin to be staged, not thrilling but shocking enough, at least I watched the process is still very moving.

The plot is not much to reveal, as for the level, this movie Douban score of 8.6 is already a good illustration, I also highly recommend. It's just that the type is relatively niche, and there may not be many people watching, but it is worth watching.

I'm a documentary person who loves to watch documentaries about those cute animals and wonderful nature, and I've seen "Dynasty", "Our Last Planet", "Little World" and so on, which are very interesting. "Give Me Wings" also has the meaning of a documentary, and some people are working hard to protect nature and the environment. Stories are risky, but the spirit of guardianship is universal.

Compared to being in the secular world, I prefer the natural world a little, no conspiracy and no interest implications, pure and beautiful. Now of course, there is also a last resort, after all, there is still a concern about the world, but also to go deep into the world, when there is not enough to see through human nature, look at this red dust inn, after a few years, it will eventually be away from the hustle and bustle of the place.

I would also like to have a pair of wings, fly up to the blue sky and soar freely, hover and dive where I can see the mountains and lakes, and see the sun different above the white clouds. This is a naïve dream, in the dream it is difficult to incarnate into a bird to be able to fly freely, and the flight in the dream is to fall from a high place, somewhat frightened.

Nature is worthy of our love, and human beings have not trampled on the rights of any species, but we are relatively lucky to be the human beings who dominate the earth. It is a pity that there are still too many people who do not respect nature and life, and even some national governments are making decisions that endanger nature, and even more so, the government of one day has openly decided to discharge nuclear wastewater into the sea.
