In 1982, the state took great pains to find an old worker named Xu Minqing, which made people feel very puzzled, and everyone did not know what special identity this old worker had, and could make the country go to such great lengths to find him. So why is that?
In fact, Xu Minqing is indeed just an ordinary worker, but his father Xu Jishen's identity is extraordinary. Xu Jishen was the first commander of the Red First Army, and his deputy was the founding marshal Xu Xiangqian. In 1988, Xu Jishen was also identified by the mainland as one of the 33 outstanding military experts, which shows that his position in the revolutionary ranks is still very lofty.
Xu Jishen graduated from Huangpu I in his early years, participated in the Northern Expedition, and also held positions in the Ye Ting Independent Regiment. As an excellent general in Ye Ting's independent regiment who had experienced hundreds of battles, he became the first commander of the Red First Army after the establishment of the first red army in 1930. Under the leadership of Commander Xu Jishen, the Red First Army won many victories under quite difficult conditions, and in just two months, the team grew from 2,300 to more than 5,000. It can be said that Xu Jishen's talent for leading troops is very remarkable, and if he develops according to this, his position in our army is likely to be extraordinary.
However, Xu Jishen's fate was not very good, in 1931, he was framed and dismissed from military power, and even died unjustly in prison, at the age of 30. At the time of Xu Jishen's death, his son Xu Minqing was only three years old, when Xu Minqing's mother sent him to his uncle's house for fear of being implicated, during which time he never knew his father's name, let alone his identity. It was not until he was 12 years old that his terminally ill mother told Xu Minqing that his father was called Xu Jishen and asked him to remember it firmly.
However, Xu Minqing misheard his father's name as Xu Continuing, and it was precisely because of this that he never learned the true identity of his father. In the special era, because he never knew the identity of his father, he suffered a lot of grievances, and was also arranged to work as a worker in the factory for decades.
In the 1980s, Xu Minqing, who was more than half a hundred years old, had no hope of his father's whereabouts, but the government in his hometown had been looking for the whereabouts of Xu Jishen's descendants. It was not until 1982 that the government finally found xu Minqing, 53, and the hero's descendants finally learned the true identity of their father.
