According to the Daily Mail on June 8, a man in Lincolnshire, England, rescued a fawn that fell down the rabbit hole on a farm.
Pete Wesley, 53, and his wife Jane spotted the doe on a morning tour of Slieford, Lincolnshire, and then realized her child had fallen down the rabbit hole.
The video shows Pete reaching into a hole in the grass and grabbing the frightened fawn, and the fawn can be heard calling for help. After a minute of struggle, the fawn was successfully rescued from the hole. It was then reunited with its mother, and the doe fed her milk for half an hour.

It is reported that the fawn was born only one day, Pete said: "The fawn stayed in the cave for at least one night. When we got there, its mother was obviously full of milk, so it hadn't eaten in a long time. ”
The hole was dug by rabbits and foxes, but was broken due to the harsh weather in winter. "We've filled that hole and the other holes around the farm and hope it stops happening again," Mr. Wesley said.
