On the afternoon of October 22, the reporter came to the intersection of Shenhe 2nd Road and Meridian Avenue, took a 334 bus, and went all the way south to check the use of bus harbors along the way. Flower Harbor • Qinling Flower World - Lower Beiliang Village - Shangbei Liang Village - Huangliang Village - Chang'an Tenth Middle School - Huangliang Town - Huangliang South - Gecun - Polytechnic Technical School - Zhangcun, along the way, the reporter found that the green belt near each bus stop sign has widened a space, the white dotted line on the ground within the "bus" 3 big characters are very conspicuous, the font is also separated by eye-catching yellow lines, at a glance can be seen that it is a new bus harbor. However, these harbors do not yet have bus stops, and the actual stop location of the vehicle is also a certain distance from the bus harbor. On the way back, the reporter noticed that the newly built bus harbor on the other side of meridian avenue on the east side of the road was also not opened.
"With the bus harbor, when the bus enters the station, it will not affect other straight vehicles, which will not only improve the traffic, but also facilitate our passengers." Master Li, a villager waiting for the bus at Zhangcun Station, praised the new bus harbor. However, he also complained, "This bus harbor has been repaired for four or five months, and I don't know why it has been useless." There are more than a dozen new bus harbors on this road, but they are always idle, which makes people feel a bit wasteful! ”
Why hasn't the already built bus harbor been put into use? On October 25, the reporter contacted the unit responsible for the construction of the bus harbor - the management committee of Changning New District in Xi'an City. "It's not that it's not necessary, it's that the supporting facilities haven't been built yet, and they can't be used." A relevant person in charge of the Changning New District Management Committee said that the bus facility upgrading project on meridian avenue from the south of the Chuhe River to the north of Huanshan Road began construction in March this year, and it was originally planned to build 20 bus harbors, which were reduced to 16 due to road planning and other reasons, and have been completed at present, but the supporting bus shelters and new station signs are still being produced, waiting for the car booths and station signs to be delivered and installed, and then handed over to the relevant units for use, so that the citizens can wait for the bus more comfortably.
