Donovan said Ball has now returned to Chicago for treatment and examination to determine the extent of his left knee injury. Ball currently has some pain in his left knee, which has led to his consecutive missing games against the Celtics and Grizzlies. Details of the injury will be updated after the examination is completed.

So far this season, Ball has played in 35 games for the Bulls, averaging 34.6 minutes per game, 13 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.9 assists, and shooting 42.3% from three-point range.
