Recently, Li Haozhe, a 2018 undergraduate student majoring in applied chemistry at Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University, received a 10,000 yuan academic paper student quality bonus from the school. In 2021, more than 4,000 students of Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University received prizes for their innovative achievements, totaling more than 2.11 million yuan, including applying for and obtaining national invention patents, publishing papers, obtaining scientific research projects, participating in discipline competitions and winning awards, participating in various innovative activities and obtaining results.
In recent years, Zhejiang A&F University has continuously strengthened undergraduate teaching and encouraged students to participate in scientific research and innovation activities by promoting the teaching of deans and the integrated development of disciplines and majors. The school invests more than 5 million yuan in various funds to encourage scientific research and innovation every year, highlighting the original achievements such as publishing high-level papers and obtaining invention patents. Students can get 1500-20,000 yuan of funding for scientific research and innovation projects, 500-10,000 yuan of awards for public publication of papers, patents or entrepreneurial achievements, and credit awards for innovative achievements, and replacement of graduation thesis (design) with papers or innovation and entrepreneurship achievements. At present, more than 60 graduates have successfully applied to replace their graduation thesis with innovation and entrepreneurship achievements. (Chen Shengwei)
