Be creative! British college students became popular for their paintings

According to the British "Fox Newspaper" reported on January 17, a foreign college student created an amazing painting in the book mouth and became popular on the Internet.

Maisie Jackson, 22, from the United Kingdom, is an art history student who became popular on TikTok for her incredible artwork. She posted many videos on her TikTok account @maisie_matilda showcasing the beautiful paintings she created on the mouth, including complex works drawn from literary masterpieces such as the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Dune trilogy.

Many of Maisie's videos have reached millions of views, and one video shows Maisie drawing a picture of Hogwarts on the edge of the Harry Potter series, which has been viewed more than 8.1 million times. Jackson drew scenes from Aragon and Arwen on the edges of the Lord of the Rings copy, and the video received more than 7.4 million views.

Maisie told reporters she started painting this way last summer, and although she's been a painter for many years, it's her first attempt at painting in a book mouth. Maisie said she uploaded videos to TikTok for fun and didn't expect it to be so popular on the Web. Maisie said: "Tolkien's work is best for me because I have always been dominated by landscape painting, and Middle-earth is full of amazing landscapes of all kinds: mountains, forests, rivers and beautiful architecture, so I especially like to paint on books by Tolkien's works." She also said that a typical painting takes anywhere from hours to days to complete, depending on the details of the painting.

Maisie, who is about to complete her final year of art history studies at university, means she has only limited time to do fringe painting, she said: "My main goal is to bring fringe painting back into the popular visual culture, and after graduation I hope to be able to continue to do art works full-time and sell these works."
