At the 2022 Tokyo Modification Show, which opened on January 14, Lexus' LX600 OFFROAD JAOS model was officially unveiled. The new car as a whole continues the domineering design of the new generation of Lexus LX models, and on this basis, the off-road kit and exclusive logo are added, and the overall off-road performance will be further improved.

In terms of appearance, the new car still continues the large-size spindle-shaped grille design of the new generation of models, and the interior of the grille is decorated by a large number of double-layer horizontal trim strips, and with the raised ribs above the cover, the visual effect is very domineering. The headlight shape of the new car has not changed, the contour lines are relatively straight, but the interior light group design is extremely sharp. At the same time, the new car reinsurers are designed with large air intake openings on both sides, and decorated with black trim strips, with a wide guard plate at the bottom, which is very aggressive.
The sides of the new car also maintained a burly shape, but the front and rear wheels were equipped with thick carbon fiber pattern trim panels, and the black trim position of the side skirt also added the JAOS logo. At the same time, the new car also blackened the door handles, exterior mirror shells and side window trim strips to make the new car more personal. For an off-road oriented model, all-terrain tires are naturally not absent, and the 20-inch multi-spoke gold rim is also very eye-catching.
In terms of the rear, the new car still adopts a through-type taillight design, and the overall square shape has not changed. However, the lower part of the new car is surrounded by a material similar to carbon fiber grain, the exhaust pipe nozzle is also blackened, and the JAOS logo is also added to the fender, which is still very recognizable.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 3.5T twin-turbo V6 engine with a maximum power of 415 horsepower and a peak torque of 650 Nm, matching a 10-speed manual transmission. At the same time, it is expected that the new car will strengthen the suspension and chassis structure, so that the new car has a stronger off-road capability.
