In the west of Xi'an City, a particularly large park was built, the Weiyang Palace National Archaeological Site Park of Han Chang'an City.

Weiyang Palace, the political center and national symbol of the Western Han Dynasty, was built by Xiao He, the most powerful minister of Liu Bang of the Han Dynasty, and was located on the LongshouYuan on the west side of the highest terrain of Chang'an City in the Han Dynasty. "Weiyang" means that there is no disaster or disaster. Weiyang Palace is one of the largest palace complexes in ancient China, and it is said that the total area is six times the size of the Forbidden City in Beijing, and the pavilions and pavilions are listed among them, which has a great influence on the palace pattern of later generations in China.

After the completion of this magnificent palace complex, the emperors of the Western Han Dynasty lived here and became the ruling center of the Western Han Dynasty, so in later ancient poems, Weiyang Palace has become synonymous with han palace. Many major events in history have happened here, Zhang Qian set out from here to open up the Silk Road, and the beautiful queen Zhaojun came out of the country and pro-Xiongnu here.

Unfortunately, today we can no longer see the magnificent palace complex of that year, only some architectural remains, more beautiful flowers and trees. Look at the endless sea of pink flowers, like smoke, like clouds like fog, and the willow wind is light, the grass is green, and more are all kinds of plants that can't be named. Here, not only can you get close to nature, but also relive the glory and strength of the Han Dynasty, it is really a good place!
