The Mirror lists Eriksen's top 5 possible premier league players: Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham United

After the termination of his contract with Inter, Danish midfielder Eriksen confirmed that he was ready to return to the Premier League. The Mirror lists the top 5 possible departures of the 29-year-old midfielder, with Tottenham and Newcastle on the list.

Tottenham

Spurs are Eriksen's most visible destination, having played for the North London club for six and a half years before joining Inter in January 2020, playing more than 300 games. During this time, he helped the team reach the finals of the Champions League and the League Cup, and twice finished second in the league with the team.

Spurs have scored just 23 goals in the Premier League this season, like Watford, who are 17th in the table, and they desperately need to find a very creative player.

Newcastle

So far this season, Newcastle have scored just 20 goals in the Premier League, and the lack of creativity is evident. Newcastle is fighting for relegation, something the Saudi consortium hadn't thought of before it took over. To remain in the Premier League, they clearly need to strengthen their squad.

Newcastle can meet Eriksen's salary requirements, and signing up until the end of the season will be an outcome that both sides are willing to see.

West Ham United

With Eriksen's quality, he deserves to be in Europe, an opportunity that West Ham can offer this season and they may still offer next season.

This season, Moyes' side are in very good shape and have good chances to break into the top four. In the process of competing for the top four, West Ham may need one last piece of the puzzle, and with Erikson's strength, he can bring a lot of help to the team.

Leicester City

Leicester City have had a tough season and they are currently only 10th in the table. However, with three games less, they are only 12 points behind Fourth-placed West Ham United, and they still have a chance to win the European Cup.

Everton

Benitez needs to get the team out of trouble as quickly as possible and while he could be sacked by the club, Eriksen can definitely give the Toffee the creativity they want. Currently, Everton are 15th in the league, just six points above the relegation zone. Subject to the Fiscal Fairness Act, Everton has very limited funding available, and signing free agent Eriksen is a good solution.
