Collecting red archives is an important responsibility of the Hebei Provincial Archives. Collecting, keeping, and making good use of the red archives is to let future generations clearly see that the red blood has been inherited and continued in the unremitting pursuit and relay struggle of the Chinese Communists.

Announcement on the call for red archives
Over the past one hundred years, in the course of striving for national liberation and the construction of new China, the heroes and sons and daughters of Hebei have produced and formed a large number of precious historical archives such as literature and red cultural relics. As an important archives custody and patriotic education base, the Hebei Provincial Archives will collect the red archives scattered in the hands of social organizations and individuals to the greatest extent, and in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the state, openly collect red archives for social organizations and individuals from now on.
1. Content of the solicitation
1. Literature. The life deeds, biographies, notes, diaries, writings, manuscripts, letters, award certificates, etc. of party history figures, revolutionary martyrs, model workers, and well-known personalities; inscriptions, messages, notes, anthologies, and other documents of famous figures.
2. Physical information. Party flags, party emblems, party constitutions, medals, medals, certificates, work documents, representative certificates, and precious physical materials from the revolutionary war years (military uniforms, epaulettes, armbands, etc.), bills (token coupons, food stamps, shopping coupons, etc.) used in various periods, contracts, daily necessities, maps, plaques, inscriptions, propaganda materials, flags, monograms, etc.
3. Audio-visual materials. Photographs, pictures, audio and video recordings related to the history of Hebei.

Voluntary donations are the mainstay. After the donated archival materials are collected into the collection, the Provincial Archives will issue a certificate to the donor and include it in the donation roster for commemoration.
