ATP Adelaide: Kokinakis reverses Lindknecht in three sets to win the title

On January 15, Beijing time, the ATP250 Adelaide station ended the singles championship competition. Kokinakis, a 145th-ranked Australian player in the world ranking, went through two seven-steal battles and finally defeated Lindrickenich 6-7 (6)/7-6(5)/6-3 in three sets to win the championship. It was also Kokinakis' first career Tour singles title.

In the first set, the two relied on their excellent serve ability and did not allow their opponents to force out any of the break points in their respective serves. After the first twelve draws, the first set can only be won by grabbing seven. In the seventh, the score of the two still alternately rose, while Lindeknecht took the lead in cashing in the set at 7-6, first to the next city.

The second set progressed similarly to the first set, with the two fighting again to grab seven after each serve. This time, Kokinakis took the initiative with a wave of attacks that won five consecutive points, and finally completed the cash on the fourth set and pulled back a set.

Cheering from their home fans, the morale-boosting Australian broke through his opponent's first serve in the decider and maintained his break advantage until the end of the set, winning the decider 6-3 and winning the first Tour singles title of his career.
