Beijing has realized the "two subsidies" for the disabled across provinces

On the eve of the National Day for Assisting the Disabled on May 6, the first case of "two subsidies" for the disabled in Beijing was completed in Haidian District, and an elderly man living in Shihezi, Xinjiang, helped his disabled son submit a subsidy application in Ganjiakou Street, Haidian District, which was approved.

It is reported that Beijing has taken the lead in realizing the "two subsidies" for the disabled across provinces, helping non-Beijing disabled people to apply for subsidies nearby. When residents with non-local household registration apply for two subsidies for the disabled in Beijing, the whole process will be controlled within 16 working days from the submission of the application to the receipt of the result.

In addition, Beijing citizens no longer need to "run at both ends" to inquire about marriage registration files and re-apply for marriage certificates. At present, Beijing has realized the sharing of the city's marriage registration file information across departments, and the public can inquire about their marriage file information at the marriage registration offices in the 16 districts of the city, eliminating the need to run the archives first and then run the civil affairs bureau to check the files. At the same time, children who are officially unsupported in school can also receive 8,000 yuan of bursaries per school year, mainly for tuition, accommodation, books and other expenses during the school period.

At present, 110 students in Beijing who meet the conditions for financial assistance have been included in the scope of the de facto unsupported children's education assistance project.

In addition, the student assistance project simplifies the application process, the masses only need to fill in the application form, provide the admission certificate or student card, the street (township) acceptance, the district civil affairs bureau confirmation link are completed within 2 working days, the funds are issued according to the semester, directly into the protection object "civil affairs card".

The Civil Affairs Bureau has made public commitments on 11 practical matters

1. Before the end of the year, complete the work of aging transformation of more than 2,000 households to the elderly families of urban and rural families with household registration of 60 years or older in the city.
