According to The Hornets reporter Rod Boone reported on January 15, sources revealed that the team's rookie center Kay Jones has lifted the health and safety agreement and can play the Magic today.
Jones triggered the deal on the 13th and missed the game against the 76ers as a result.
Kay Jones is the No. 19 pick of 2021 and has played in 12 games for the Hornets this season, averaging 0.8 points and 0.5 rebounds per game.
At 8 a.m. today, the Hornets will be at home against the Magic.
