Musk recently announced that some items in the Tesla store can now accept Dogecoin payments, including goods such as giga Texas Belt Buckle, Cyberwhistle (whistle) and Cyberquad (child buggy).
At present, the Tesla store interface shows that the Texas factory belt buckle is priced at 835 DOGE (Dogecoin); while the Cyberwhistle (whistle) is priced at 300 DOGE (Dogecoin); Tesla Cyberquad for Kids (Kids Buggy) Dogecoin pays 12020 DOGE (Dogecoin).
And dollar prices for kids' versions of Cyberquad, Cyberwhistle, and Giga Texas Belt Buckle have been removed from Tesla stores. Previously, the children's version of Cyberquad was priced at $1,900 (about 2,000 yuan); the Cyberwhistle was priced at $50 (about 317 yuan); the Giga Texas belt buckle was listed at $150 (about 952 yuan), and Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.19 a piece (about 1.2 yuan a piece).
Tesla later added: "When checking out with Dogecoin, the payment page will display the Tesla Dogecoin wallet "address" in the form of an alphanumeric code and a QR code so that you can connect to the Dogecoin wallet to transfer Dogecoin, and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that Dogecoin is accurately transferred to Tesla's Dogecoin wallet."
Tesla also informs customers who pay in cryptocurrency that the Dogecoin network charges a network fee every time they pay in that currency, that any fees associated with Dogecoin transactions will be the customer's responsibility, and that all items purchased using Dogecoin cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled.
