Later, Chairman Mao led the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army to successfully capture the county town of Chaling in Hunan, and Comrade Tan Zhenlin, because of his outstanding work performance and deep love of the masses, was elected chairman of the workers' and peasants' government in Chaling, and also served as the chairman of the trade union.
