The PS5 version of Apex Legends may soon arrive, according to the famous PS tracking website PlayStation Game Size, they found the PS5 version of the popular battle royale game in the PSN database.
PlayStation Game Size said that the PS5 version of Apex is 80GB in size without an update, which is much larger than the current version, which means that it will bring a significant upgrade to the game.
Currently, console players can only play backward compatible versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The biggest next-generation upgrade to the PS5 version is an increase in graphics performance, which increases the game resolution to 1440p.
Back in 2020, publisher EA promised fans that more graphic enhancements to the game were being developed and planned for release in 2021, though those features were apparently delayed.
In February 2021, Steven Ferreira, respawn team director, said that 120 frames was an important direction the studio was developing for the game, while Ryan Rigney, Respawn's former social director, revealed to fans in August 2021 that development was still continuing.
