Romano: Tuchel wants to recall Emerson, and the Blues offer 4 million euros in compensation

According to Italian journalist Romano, Chelsea boss Tuchel wants to recall Emerson early, but Lyon wants to keep the 27-year-old left-back.

Romano pointed out that Chelsea failed to sign Digne because Everton only accepted a permanent transfer deal, not a loan. Chelsea are currently actively pushing for an early recall of Emerson and offering compensation of 4 million euros, but Lyon still want to keep him.

Emerson joined Lyon on loan from Chelsea last summer for one season, with an option buyout clause included in the deal. Emerson has played in 20 games so far this season, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist.
