In 1912, when the Qing Dynasty fell, Zenki wanted to use the power of the Japanese to restore the country, so he gave his daughter Xianji to Kawashima Nanasu as an adopted daughter, after which Xianyue changed her name to Yoshiko Kawashima, sent to Japan to receive militarist education, and returned to China to become a Japanese spy when she grew up. When the Qing Dynasty fell, Jin Moyu was not yet born, so she was not given to the Japanese by Shanqi, and when the Qing court widows fled to Hong Kong, because she had no feelings for the Qing government, she stayed in Beijing.

In 1973, Jin Moyu was released from prison, and she spent all her time and experience in the cause of education in China, and she founded a number of private universities and educational institutions. After the normal establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, Jin Moyu was one of the first people to advocate learning Japanese. Because of her outstanding contribution to education, she was hired as the president of The Eastern University City and also served as a researcher at the Beijing Museum of Literature and History.
