Edited the I Nine Song

We all know that the ancient emperor's appointment of the crown prince was originally a family affair, but the prince was the next emperor after all, involving many things, and could not let the emperor play freely. In the history of the Ming Dynasty, the Wanli Emperor loved the third son very much and always wanted to make the third son the crown prince, but in the end the Wanli Emperor chose the most disliked son as the crown prince.

Zhu Changluo was the Wanli Emperor's least favorite son, Zhu Changxun was his favorite third son, and he was also his own son, so why did the Wanli Emperor treat him differently?

The Wanli Emperor's empresses Wang Shi and Concubine Liu of the Wanli Emperor had not had children since their canonization in the sixth year of the Wanli Dynasty (1578). It is strange to say that in the ninth year of the Wanli Calendar, the Ming Shen Sect was in the palace of his birth mother, Empress Li, and he was fortunate to have a palace lady wang clan, and he did not think that the Wang clan was pregnant.

The Ming Dynasty was very taboo about this matter, so it was not recorded in the Ming Dynasty's Inner Living Notes. At that time, The Mingshen Sect did not give anything to the Wang clan, and empress Dowager Li was anxious, and the Mingshen Sect was finally forced to admit it.

The child born to the Gongnu Wang clan was Zhu Changluo, and in the tenth year of the Wanli Calendar, the Gongnu Wang clan was crowned as a concubine. Although the MingShen Sect had the eldest son, he did not like Zhu Changluo very much in his heart.

Empress Myeongshinjong did not give birth to an heir, and among the many concubines, she was particularly fond of the Zheng clan. In the twelfth year of the Wanli Calendar, the Zheng clan gave birth to the emperor's second son, Zhu Changshu, but this son died prematurely. Although his son did not stay, Emperor Myeongshin was still very fond of the Zheng clan and was immediately crowned as a noble concubine.

Among these concubines, perhaps Zheng Guifei knew the Wanli Emperor best, and soon after Zheng Guifei gave birth to the emperor's third son, Zhu Changxun. After Zheng gave birth to Zhu Changxun, Emperor Mingshenzong was very happy and crowned her as an imperial concubine, second only to the position of empress.

At this time, Zheng Guifei was blowing wind in the ears of Emperor Mingshenzong, and Zheng Guifei took the opportunity to beg Emperor Mingshenzong to make Zhu Changxun, the third son of Emperor Mingshen, the crown prince, and make herself an empress. The two even made an agreement to swear an oath in a Taoist temple.

The promise given by Emperor Mingshen to Concubine Zheng undoubtedly violated the ancestral system and the feudal etiquette system, and was bound to cause a major political crisis. Emperor Mingshen favored Concubine Zheng Guifei, but he was hesitant to stand for the crown prince. In Emperor Myeongshin's heart, he had always wanted to make Zhu Changxun crown prince, but he was blocked by the ministers of the court, who feared that Concubine Zheng Guifei would establish the third son of the emperor and damage the country.

As soon as the MingShen Sect ascended to the throne, he saw thousands of recitals, and all of them talked about one thing, that is, to make Zhu Changluo the crown prince. The dispute over the crown prince became the most intense and complex political event in the Wanli calendar, forcing the dismissal of four cabinet chiefs and assistants, more than a dozen ministerial-level officials, and more than 300 central and local officials, of whom more than 100 were deposed, dismissed, and sent to the army.

In order to calm the smoke of this court, in October of the twenty-ninth year of the Wanli Calendar (1601), the emperor finally made the emperor's eldest son Zhu Changluo the crown prince and the third son Zhu Changxun the Prince of Fu. Although Zhu Changxun was the Prince of Fu, the Wanli Emperor was satisfied with whatever treatment he wanted.

During the reign of Emperor Myeongshin, Zhu Changxun asked his father for a lot of belongings, and the area of the fief was far greater than that of other brothers. Zhu Changxun also took away many rare treasures from the imperial palace, and according to historical records, Zhu Changxun's palace in Luoyang was more luxurious than the imperial palace.

Zhu Changxun grew up under the favor of Emperor Mingshenzong and Concubine Zheng Guifei from an early age, and after being assigned to the fiefdom, he drank and played all day long, singing and dancing, and the only thing he loved was women, songs and dances. At that time, a peasant uprising broke out north of the Yangtze River, and a great drought and locust plague also broke out in Henan.

The people at the bottom have already seen each other eating each other, and the situation at that time was already an apocalyptic. Folk people say that the former emperor spent the world's wealth to enrich the king, and Luoyang was rich in the imperial palace. After the peasant army reached Luoyang, the hungry peasant army rushed to Zhu Changxun's mansion and looted the gold, silver and treasure.

Zhu Changxun, the King of Fu, was also killed in this war, and we are not surprised by the death of Zhu Changxun, although he was born into the imperial family, at the time of the crisis of the Ming Dynasty, he ignored daming and only cared about personal pleasures, and he did not know what Zhu Yuanzhang, who founded Daming, knew his descendants, such ability, what would he think underground.
