On January 8, the 2021/2022 FIS Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalfacturm World Cup was held at the Swiss Scuord Station. In the women's competition, Gong Naiying and Zang Ruxin reached the final (that is, entered the top 16), of which Gong Naiying performed well and finally won the eighth place, which was the best result achieved by the Chinese parallel giant slalom team this season. In the men's competition, Bi Ye finished 18th, firmly occupying a qualification for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

This competition is the penultimate parallel Giant Slalom World Cup sub-station before the Beijing Winter Olympics, and almost all the top 20 players in the world participate. No one in China has been able to surpass the Olympic points real-time finalist line at the World Cup in December last year, and the two Winter Olympic quotas won belong to the host. But as the season progresses, Chinese players have accelerated the pace of scoring. At present, 4 women and 2 men of the Chinese parallel giant slalom team have reached the minimum participation standards of the Winter Olympics, of which Gong Naiying and Bi Ye qualified for the Winter Olympics in real time, and Zang Ruxin and Qin Zihan ranked first in the Olympic bench standings in real time. From January 14 to 15, the final parallel Giant Slalom World Cup before the Winter Olympics will be held, and the Chinese team is expected to qualify for more Olympic games.

On January 9, the 2021/2022 FIS Snowboard Sledge Pursuit World Cup russia was held. In the second match, Chinese player Born in 2004 won the tie for 17th place, which is the best result in the history of Chinese players in the World Cup.

Back in December last year, at the World Cup in Austria, China's female player Feng He finished 23rd and successfully activated the host spot. The 17th place won by Yun qing ram in russia, which replaced the host quota activated by Feng He in real time, and a healthy competitive situation was formed in the Chinese team. However, in the men's side, the Chinese team has not yet activated the host quota.

On January 10, the 2021/2022 FIS Freestyle Slope Steeplechase World Cup came to an end, with China's Gu Ailing finishing second and another Chinese player, Yang Ruyi, finishing sixth with 83.00 points. This result is the best in the history of the Chinese athlete in the event except Gu Ailing.

Born in 2005, Yang Ruyi only began to systematically train the slope obstacle course through cross-border cross-discipline selection in 2018, but she grew up very fast, winning the domestic championship many times, and in 2021, after Gu Ailing, she became the second player in China to complete the 1080-degree movement of the right deflection body. Despite his good results at mammoth mountain, Yang Ruyi has yet to qualify for the Beijing Winter Olympics. From January 14 to 16, the last stop before the Winter Olympics will be the Freestyle Ski Slope Obstacle Course World Cup, and Yang Ruyi will join other Chinese athletes in giving a go to the Winter Olympic qualification.

At present, five female players from the Chinese freestyle ski slope obstacle course and big jumping national team have met the minimum participation standards of the Winter Olympics. No Chinese male player has yet activated the host's qualification.
