According to HopsHype reporter Michael Scotto, the Lakers will not take the draft pick in order to send away DeAndre Jordan or Kent Bazemore.
By sending away either of the two, the Lakers could save $7 million in expenses (player salaries + luxury taxes).
Jordan Jr. has averaged 4.4 points and 5.6 rebounds this season, and Bazemore is averaging 3.9 points and two rebounds per game.
