The Post: United are very interested in Lampteay, with Brighton asking for almost £40 million

The Daily Mail reported that United were very interested in Brighton right-back Lamptey, who was valued at £30 million at the homegrown defender.

It is reported that Manchester United are interested in finding a new right-back, and Lonnick also wants to increase competition for Wan-Bissaka and Dalot, so Manchester United regard Lampte as an important target.

United value Lampte at £30m, while Brighton are priced at the homegrown defender at nearly £40m.

Lampte is from Chelsea's academy and has made three first-team appearances for the Blues before moving to Brighton in 2020.

In addition to Manchester United, Tottenham are also watching Lampte and Conte is looking to bring in a new right wing-back.
