On January 11, the reporter learned from the Qihe Yellow River Affairs Bureau that the Shandong Provincial River Chief System Office recently issued the "Notice on Announcing the List of Provincial Beautiful and Happy Demonstration Rivers and Lakes in 2021", of which the Yellow River (Qihe Section) was rated as a provincial-level beautiful and happy demonstration river and lake.

It is the responsibility to guard the river and to govern the river well. With the goal of "standardization, standardization and refinement" of project management, the Qihe Yellow River Affairs Bureau fully implements the management responsibility system, completes the maintenance and maintenance tasks with high quality, effectively ensures the integrity and safe operation of flood control projects, develops and applies the Qihe Yellow River digital project management system, and realizes remote observation of key projects. While building a "flood prevention support line and emergency rescue traffic line", we will continue to promote the construction of national water conservancy scenic spots, strive to create an "ecological landscape line", improve the level of ecological construction of engineering in the jurisdiction with high quality, solidly promote tree planting and greening, the number of various trees has reached more than 1.3 million, the green coverage rate has reached more than 95%, and the ecological barrier system of "four-in-one" has been created in the riverside wave protection forest, the embankment top road forest, the suitable forest in the silt back area, and the back river berm forest.

In addition, the bureau continues to exert efforts in the integration of riverland and land, based on the positioning of "spokesperson of the Yellow River, person in the Development Bureau, and beneficiary of integration", actively integrates into local economic and social development, and works together to promote the transformation and upgrading of the "Red Heart No. 1" cultural square, the widening project of Riverside Avenue and other co-construction projects. Last year, the bureau clearly requested that the creation of provincial-level beautiful and happy demonstration rivers and lakes be listed as a key task in 2021. The bureau set up a special class, successively organized and held a creation plan review and demonstration meeting, a primary acceptance meeting, and went to other units to exchange and learn the creation experience. At the beginning of December 2021, the Yellow River (Qihe section) passed the acceptance of the provincial expert group with the highest score in the province.
