On January 12, the official map of the first model of NIUTRON, the NV official map of the self-touring car, was released, which is positioned as a medium-sized and large 5-seat SUV and provides pure electric and range extender hybrid two powertrains. In addition, the new car will be launched on a small scale in March 2022, launched at the Beijing Auto Show in April, and officially rolled off the production line and delivered in September.
Judging from the appearance of the release, the self-touring NV adopts the design concept of Urban Exploring, and the front face adopts a dynamic thick-walled light guide LED and a pair of oversized double-track daytime running lights, plus the bulging engine canopy and the red front surround, the overall front face is flexible and recognizable.
The side lines of the body are simple and smooth, the waist line is slightly raised, and the pillars of the black body create a suspended roof design. The C-pillar features a wider metal cover and a digital dynamic charging indicator that shows the vehicle's charging status.
The rear of the body adopts a penetrating taillight group, equipped with an "integrated crater" tail, and the tail wing shape integrates the roof spoiler and side wind wing design, which can embed the rear wiper into the interior of the roof spoiler, presenting a simple atmosphere.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the NV are 4915mm, 1950mm and 1750mm, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.
In terms of power, the self-touring NV is based on the Gemini twin power module system, using a modular design concept, which can be fully compatible with pure electric systems and extended range systems, and the whole series is equipped with intelligent electric four-wheel drive as standard, with 0-100km/h acceleration of 5.9s, and provides a variety of driving mode options, enabling users to achieve a free driving experience in all scenarios.
