A history full of drama: five generations of tyrants who died of uneven sharing of the spoils

Many people know that the Five Dynasties began with Zhu Wen usurping the Tang Dynasty and ended with the Zhao Kuangyin Chen Qiao Mutiny. But in fact, there was a person who had the opportunity to end five generations decades earlier than Zhao Kuangyin, and this person was Li Cunxun, the founder of the Later Tang Dynasty.

He was the son of Li Keyong, the envoy of Hedong Jiedu and the King of Jin, and in our current words, he was a super rich second generation. But if he was just an ordinary rich second generation, there would not be so many people arguing. The first half of his life proved what a tiger father has no dog. At the age of twenty-four, he took over the position of his father who died of illness, but his father did not leave him with a good situation.

The later Tang Dynasty, which flourished at the moment

On the outside, there is Zhu Wen, a great enemy of life and death, and inside there are the elders of the company who covet his position as the first in command, which can be described as stormy. But he not only stabilized the broken ship of Jin Guo, but finally destroyed the rear liang of the great enemy of life and death, completing what his father did not do. Among them, the difficulties and obstacles are not to say that we can also know that none of us can deny Li Cunxun's military ability, and there are very few people who can look up to him in the five generations.

Portrait of Li Cunxun

According to the normal script, Li Cunxun should be able to end the five generations and unify China, and there will be no Zhao Kuangyin at all. But history has made a big joke to us, Li Cunxun founded the Later Tang and destroyed the Later Liang in just three years, when he was forty-three years old.

The reason for this is worth pondering, in fact, it seems very simple now, and the share of the spoils is uneven. After the fall of Later Liang, without the pressure of foreign enemies, Li Cunxun began to slack off the government and covet pleasures, poor and extravagant, spoiling people, etc., and almost all the work that Emperor Xuan could do.

The already unstable situation has begun to be turbulent again, and if there is the support of the army, it will not actually lead to the final life and death. Li Cunxun seemed to think that everything in the world was his, but he forgot to help him lay down the soldiers in the world.

Suffering from widowhood and not suffering from equality, the world is fought down by everyone together, but the rich and noble are only enjoyed by Li Cunxun alone. He had completely lost the hearts of the people, and it was inevitable that he would suffer betrayal in five generations of ambition. In the end, the people rebelled and fought alone, and were killed by an arrow, leaving the world with endless emotions.

It is said that taking history as a mirror, Li Cunxun's life ending of high and low gives us a warning: Whether in a company or a regimental unit of several people, we must take care of the interests of as many people as possible.
