"The grace of dripping water will surely repay the spring", from ancient times to the present, this is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. Although Zhu Yuanzhang had killed heroes, he was also a person who knew how to repay the favor.

As we all know, Zhu Yuanzhang's origin is not the same as other emperors in history. He was born into a poor peasant family and was the fourth oldest in the family. His parents were down-to-earth peasants, political corruption at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, officials constantly squeezing the people, the people were divided into four classes, and ethnic contradictions were sharp. At that time, the Mongols did not need to work to enjoy all the property of the Han chinese and other ethnic groups, and the cost of killing a person was only to compensate a cow. Other ethnic groups are heavily enslaved, disasters and famines are continuous, and most ordinary people are struggling on the death line and it is difficult to survive.
In the third year, a drought occurred in Haozhou, and in the spring of the following year, there was a severe plague of locusts and plagues. In less than half a month, Zhu Yuanzhang's father, eldest brother, and mother died one after another, leaving only him and his second brother to rely on each other. How poor was the Zhu family at that time? The Zhu Yuanzhang brothers had no money to buy coffins for their deceased relatives, not even the land to bury them. It was still the neighbor Liu Jizu who gave them a cemetery, and the brothers found a few torn clothes to wrap the body before burying their relatives.
Then, in order to survive, the Zhu Yuanzhang brothers each escaped. When he was cornered, Zhu Yuanzhang thought of going to the Gaobin monk of huangjue temple and made a monk for the monk. His life in the monastery was also not good, he had to do a lot of work every day, not to mention, and he had to be reprimanded by the old monk. Soon, there was a famine in the local area, and the temple did not receive alms, so the abbot had to send the monks to travel and change their fortunes. Zhu Yuanzhang, who was only 17 years old, once again lived a windy meal and slept rough, and had a begging life without eating.
At that time, the people's life was very difficult, and there was nothing to eat. Zhu Yuanzhang, who had not eaten for several days, fainted from hunger on the street. A big lady passing by saw him pitiful, took him home, and cooked him the last piece of tofu and spinach in the house, along with leftovers. Zhu Yuanzhang finished eating in a few bites and asked the eldest lady what kind of dish it was, it was so delicious. The eldest lady smiled and replied, "This is pearl emerald white jade soup." Zhu Yuanzhang was very grateful to the eldest bride and promised to repay her after developing in the future, but the eldest bride saw him so depressed and did not take it seriously.
Later, Zhu Yuanzhang declared himself emperor and established the Ming Dynasty. As the most honorable person in the world, he lives a life of fine clothes and food every day. But he has always been obsessed with the bowl of hot soup that year, so he ordered the imperial chef to make "pearl emerald white jade soup" and explained what ingredients were needed for this dish. But the imperial cooks could not make that taste, so Zhu Yuanzhang ordered a nationwide search for the eldest bride who had saved his life.
Soon, the eldest lady was invited to Zhu Yuanzhang. When the eldest lady saw that the little beggar who had once been a beggar was now the king of a country, she was shocked and afraid. Zhu Yuanzhang asked the eldest lady not to be nervous, and also asked her to make another bowl of "pearl emerald white jade soup", and the eldest lady agreed. Many years later, after tasting this delicacy again, Zhu Yuanzhang was very happy and asked the eldest lady if she would like to stay in the palace and continue to make soup for him. The eldest lady said that she was just an ordinary citizen and refused Zhu Yuanzhang's proposal.
The saving grace of that year cannot but be repaid. Therefore, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered a reward for the eldest bride to be rewarded with a lot of gold and silver treasures to thank her for her kindness.
