The Times: Crystal Palace asks Arsenal for Nketia at least 6 teams interested in him

According to British football journalist Aden Wood, Crystal Palace has begun negotiations with Arsenal to bring in Nketiah, but the Gunners striker is in high demand in the transfer market, with more than 6 clubs interested in signing him.

In the summer window last year, Crystal Palace offered £12 million for Nkedia, but Arsenal offered 20 million, and the two sides failed to reach an agreement, leaving the players in North London. With Nketiah now only half a year left on his contract, the 22-year-old, who has no steady chances to play for the Gunners, has turned down an offer to renew arsenal in hopes of leaving the team for free at the end of the season.

According to the Times, Arsenal boss Arteta hopes that Nketija can renew his contract to stay in the team.

The Gunners' four strikers, Aubameyang, have been abandoned, the 20-year-old Balogun plans to move to Middlesbrough, Lacazette's contract has only been renewed for six months, and although Arsenal have begun to ask for Vlahović, Arteta still hopes to keep Nketiah to ensure the offensive firepower of the bench.

Nketija has made three league substitute appearances this season, scoring five goals in the League Cup and also starting yesterday in the FA Cup with Nottingham Forest, where he scored six goals for Arsenal in all competitions last season.
