In Changsha, Hunan Province, Li Xiufang is the mother of a child with Down syndrome. In the face of her child's illness, she never thought of giving up. In 2014, she led the establishment of the non-profit organization "Tangguo Home" to provide emotional support and rehabilitation support for more children and parents. Today, there are 5 professional social workers here, and 1475 volunteers join the area every year, helping nearly 400 children in total. With their help, some children have gone from being unable to take care of themselves in their early days to cooking on their own, and some have learned to draw and calligraphy. Li Xiufang hopes that every Tang family can warm up to each other here.
