CBA League: Disqualified from interviewing in the second phase of the regular season for media personnel in the Shougang and Guangsha competitions

On January 10, the CBA League issued an announcement that on the 9th, the 20th round of the 2021-2022 CBA League regular season, when the Beijing Shougang team's home game against Zhejiang Guangsha Holdings team in the Changchun City Gymnasium was in the fourth quarter, Yang Baoyan, a media personnel located in the first row of the text press seat, shouted to the players in the field, resulting in a dispute between the Beijing Shougang players and them, and the media personnel were taken away from the scene after coordination and dissuasion by the on-site staff.

According to the regulations, the behavior of the media personnel Yang Baoyan constituted interference with the competition and affected the normal progress of the event. China Basketball Federation (Beijing) Sports Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "CBA League") decided to cancel the media interview qualification of Yang Baoyan, a media officer, for the follow-up to the second phase of the 2021-2022 CBA League regular season, and ordered his affiliated units to strengthen education for him. The CBA League calls on all league participants to abide by the relevant management system of the league and jointly maintain the good order and image of the league.
