But in fact, the domestic e-commerce platform for GPS tracking equipment supervision does not seem to be so strict.
When randomly browsing e-commerce content, users can easily search for positioning trackers, such devices on the e-commerce platform has a wide variety of huge quantities, and most of these products are disguised as products similar to charging treasures, and are sold in a bright and upright manner.

Although these e-commerce platforms have blocked keywords, by avoiding these sensitive words, it is still easier to search for the corresponding devices, and sales are not low. Some e-commerce platforms do not even set up sensitive word blocking, and you can directly search for the corresponding products.
A platform built-in locator disguised as a charging treasure product
The price of these charging treasures is generally around 200 to 300 yuan, while the price of ordinary versions of charging treasures is not more than 100 yuan. From the price, it is not difficult to see that there must be "cat grease" in this product.
When I casually clicked on a charging treasure product, I found out that they were the original face.
Basically, each product is marked with functions such as "remote precise positioning" and "noise reduction recording", and for such products, these two functions are relatively basic.
In addition, some products even claim to support GPS + Beidou + WIFI + LBS multi-mode complementary positioning, through a variety of positioning modules complementary, its positioning error does not exceed 10 meters.
Then I "followed the vine to find the owner of one of the stores" and asked whether the positioning equipment could be installed by itself; although the seller said that it could not, but the equipment could be mailed and installed by him, some positioning modules with slightly simpler functions, and the standby time could even reach a whole year.
The seller also said that someone had previously mailed a "shared charging treasure" and built a positioning module for it. We don't know whether this matter is true or not, but turning public facilities into open directional tracking equipment must not be a good idea.

Adding positioning and monitoring functions to the charging treasure is actually not complicated, and it is enough to connect a positioning chip equipped with an IoT SIM card to the battery that comes with the charging treasure. When working, the positioning chip receives satellite data, and then sends the data to the signal tower through the IoT SIM card, and the signal tower is then transmitted to the server, and your location information is uploaded to the cloud, and the user reads the data directly from the server to accurately obtain your location information.
It is worth noting here that the Internet of Things SIM card, the Internet of Things SIM card and our ordinary mobile phone SIM card is not the same, the main use is in the smart camera, elevator advertising screen, massage chair and other data transmission equipment, exclusively for logistics companies and other enterprise users to use.
These IoT SIM cards used in special devices are used on "eavesdropping trackers", and the high probability is that they have been exploited by these unscrupulous businesses, and I hope that the major operator platforms can face this problem as soon as possible.
