Recently, Jibang Consulting said that the shortage of parts and components has not been clearly alleviated to this day, and the overall shipment will continue to impact the relevant machine shipments, and it is expected that only the PC category will be less affected in the first quarter of 2022. In the first quarter, the supply situation of components to the market is expected to be the same as that in the fourth quarter of 2021. Only when the end product enters the traditional off-season cycle, the demand momentum is expected to alleviate the urgent pressure of OEMs and ODMs on supply chain stockpiling.

Jibang Consulting said that since November 2021, the shortage of short materials in long and short materials has been alleviated indiscriminately, so PC ODMs shipments have increased in the fourth quarter of 2021. Compared with mobile phones and servers, the impact of uneven length on PCs and laptops is relatively small. ODM plant laptop shipments are expected to decline by only 5.1% sequentially in the first quarter of 2022.
