A few days ago, the Changan Auchan brand officially released the official picture of the new compact SUV model Z6, which adopts a new design language in terms of appearance and provides consumers with three powertrain options. Judging from the pace of publicity, it is very likely that this car will be unveiled in the near future and pre-sale will be opened at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2022.
First of all, looking at the appearance, the front face of the Changan Auchan Z6 is equipped with an inverted trapezoidal intake grille, which is embellished with a scale armor-style middle net, with a slender "streamer sharp headlights", the whole vehicle looks full of attack. It is worth mentioning that the car's one-sided headlights are integrated with 36 LED light sources, and have a flowing water dynamic lighting effect, highlighting a strong scientific and technological atmosphere.
The rear shape of the car is more similar to changan Auchan X5, the rear of the car is a sneakback shape, creating a déjà vu of the coupe SUV, and equipped with a slender tail light group, with a total of four exhaust systems under the tail, making the tail look very sporty. According to the data released by the official, the length, width and height of the Changan Auchan Z6 are 4699mm, 1890mm and 1660mm, and the wheelbase is 2795mm, positioning itself as a compact SUV model.
In terms of power, Changan Auchan Z6 will provide three kinds of power systems, namely Blue Whale iDD Global Hybrid System, Blue Whale 2.0T+8AT Power System, and Blue Whale 1.5T+7DCT Power System. Among them, the Blue Whale iDD global hybrid system is composed of blue whale NE 1.5T hybrid special engine, blue whale triple-clutch electric drive transmission, large-capacity PHEV battery, iDD intelligent control system, the maximum power of the engine is 120kW, the peak torque is 250N·m, the maximum power of the motor is 85kW, the peak torque is 280N·m, and the acceleration of 100 kilometers can reach 7.6s.
Models equipped with a 2.0T+8AT powertrain have a maximum output of 171 kW and a peak torque of 390 N·m, while the 1.5T+7-speed dual-clutch powertrain has a maximum output of 138 kW and a peak torque of 300 N·m.
As a compact SUV, and in terms of power including 1.5T and 2.0T power system, Changan Auchan Z6 future competitors will be Haval H6, Geely Boyue and other models, and may even squeeze the living space of their own models, if you do not want to "roll inside" in the domestic hot compact SUV field, the price is a good choice.
