The first "Ren Hongyuan Poetry Award" was launched, with a maximum prize of 50,000 yuan

At the beginning of the new year, the first "Ren Hongyuan Poetry Award" was launched, which followed the aesthetic spirit of Ren's famous poet and scholar Hongyuan's poetry creation, attached importance to humanity, spirituality and language, and focused on rewarding poets and poetry critics who had outstanding performance in the humanistic spiritual dimension and the linguistic aesthetic dimension.

Ren Hongyuan, born in 1937 in Qionglai, Sichuan, died on August 12, 2020. He is the author of the collection of poetry and poetics " The Language of Nüwa " , the Introduction to Chinese Cultural Poetics " The Yellow River Written in Ink " , the Multi-stylistic Chinese Cultural Philosophy " Chinese Red Shift " , and the poetry collection "Ren Hongyuan's Poems" in the collection of poems.

Ren Ting, the daughter of Mr. Ren Hongyuan, once said: "My father had three last wishes: to publish a complete collection of works; to be buried in the Baimu River in qionglai, his hometown, and to return the leaves to their roots; and to set up a 'Ren Hongyuan Literature Award' named after him to inspire the creation of future generations and young people." Today, the "Third Eye: Ren Hongyuan's Complete Works and Poetry Volumes", "He Walks Past You: Ren Hongyuan's Complete Works and Autobiographical Volumes", and "Chinese Red Shift: Ren Hongyuan's Complete Works and Theoretical Volumes" edited by Wang Shaoyong and Li are all in the process of being published; "One Man's Genesis: A Commemorative Anthology of Mr. Ren Hongyuan" edited by Li Jing is also expected to be published in 2022. The "Ren Hongyuan Poetry Award", jointly sponsored by the Publicity Department of qionglai municipal party committee, qionglai federation of literary and art circles, motie reading poetry club, beijing normal university literary creation and criticism research center and beijing normal university new poetry research center, was officially opened on the first day of 2022.

It is reported that the "Ren Hongyuan Poetry Award" will be held every two years from 2022. In March of each session, the Motie Poetry Reading Club and the final review committee submit the nomination list to the executive group, and finally the final jury votes, resulting in one poet award, one poetry critic award, and one young poet award (under 30 years old), with prizes of 50,000 yuan, 30,000 yuan and 20,000 yuan respectively. The award ceremony was held around August 12 in Qionglai, Sichuan, Ren Hongyuan's hometown.

The final jury of the "Ren Hongyuan Poetry Prize" is composed of shen haobo, Li Jing, Zhang Qinghua, Yisha, Xichuan, Li Yi, Zhao Siyun and other well-known poets or scholars. Li Zhi, chairman of the Qionglai Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature, said that this is the first award named after the Qionglai people, and from the selection to the award, it will attract more people to pay attention to Qionglai, write Qionglai, and more profoundly inherit the context of Qionglai.
