The Higher People's Court of Guangdong Province yesterday (7th) made a decision on Gu Yanjun's application for state compensation: compensation for Gu Yanjun's personal freedom compensation of more than 287,000 yuan, psychological damage consolation payment of 143,000 yuan, and return of fines of 80,000 yuan and interest.

From being convicted of "three crimes", to changing the sentence of partial innocence, to now receiving state compensation, more than ten years of persistence and waiting, Gu Yanjun finally "wants to get back what he lost.". This is also a powerful example of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of private enterprises in accordance with the law.

In recent years, judicial organs have conscientiously implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the private enterprise forum, supervised and corrected a number of cases with greater influence in accordance with the law, and embodied the spirit of seeking truth from facts in law enforcement.
