According to French media Outlet Mercato, Atletico are interested in Leipzig right-back Mugelle and hope to bring in the French defender to replace trippier who left the team.
Trippier has confirmed a move to Newcastle today and Atletico need to bring in a replacement in this winter window. French sources revealed that Ma Hassle has hit Leipzig defender Mujelle and has been in touch with Leipzig.
Atletico have been following Mujelle for a long time, with the 24-year-old defender joining Leipzig from Montpellier in the summer of 2018 and playing in 131 games for Leipzig.
