In view of the fermenting influence and expanding fan base of "Three-Body Problem" and Liu Cixin in the English-speaking world, Thor Books decided to renew the work in advance. Since its inception, no more than 5 writers like Liu Cixin have received prepaid royalties of more than one million US dollars, reflecting the global market value of contemporary Chinese literary works.
At present, the "Three-Body" trilogy has been exported in more than 30 languages, with cumulative sales of more than 3.3 million copies in foreign languages, and a large number of iron fans have been harvested in developed countries in Europe and the United States and countries along the "Belt and Road".
