Wizards Official: The team has signed Monroe to a 10-day contract with a difficult exception

The Wizards announced today that the team has officially signed a 10-day contract with center Monroe using the hardship exception.

Monroe previously signed a 10-year contract with the Timberwolves.

During his contract, Monroe played in three games for the Timberwolves, averaging 21.0 minutes per game, 6.7 points, 7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.3 blocks.
