According to Sam AMICO, former NBA player Greg Monroe recently returned to the transfer market to seek to join an NBA team.

In an interview with The Ringer, Monroe said: "I'm ready, whatever the character, I'm willing to take it. I know what I can bring to the team. I know my skills, my versatility. I just needed a chance to show myself and show my impact on the team. I've been working hard to change the game to fit the current style of play. ”

"Obviously, I've been playing overseas for the last few years. I've been watching the playoffs but haven't been a part of it, and now I'm concentrating on trying to be a part of the team. I'm now focused on getting a job, which I can control. Monroe added.

Monroe entered the NBA with the 7th overall pick in the first round in 2010 as a center, playing for the Pistons, Bucks, Suns, Celtics, Raptors and 76ers. Monroe played in 632 games in his NBA career, averaging 13.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. The current 30-year-old last played in the NBA in the 2018-2019 season before heading overseas. In January, he agreed to a contract buyout with Russian club Khimki to officially become a free agent.
